Mountainbike

Val di Ledro, as well the whole Trentino area, is a real paradise for fans of mountain biking.
In Ledro Valley alone there are more than 200 km of designated routes, suitable not only for beginners, but also for professionals. There are several facilities offering the possibility to rent mountain bikes in the valley.
In our houses you will find detailed maps “Routes for mountain bike tours” with routes, lanes, roads and trails.

Hiking and Trekking

Ledro Valley is an ideal starting point for moderate walking tours on the surrounding mountains.
The summits show a wonderful view on the valley, the lakes Lago di Ledro and Lago di Garda, and even reach out until the Dolomites, nominated for UNESCO world cultural heritage.
Plenty of paths used by the residents of the valley in the past for sheep-farming are very interesting regarding landscape and culture, in particular the mountain pastures.
One example it the “Sentiero delle Malghe di Molina e Legos” on which you can hike from the plain of Pur upwardly and across 5 mountain pastures. In our houses you will find detailed maps “Sentieri CAI-SAT”. Destinations of further interest are e.g.  the near Val di Fumo or Val di Genova.
Besides this, you can discover the magic locations of the valley by horse or as well by carriage.
There are several riding farms in Val di Pur and Val di Concei.

Water Sports

Plenty of sports can be practised in the lake.
You will find the opportunity for tours by sailing boat, by catamaran and by canoe - or simply take a paddle boat and to discover unknown views on the lake.
The calm lake is ideal to familiarise oneself with a surfboard. During the summer months you can take surf lessons in the yachting club in Pieve di Ledro.
Lago di Ledro plays an important role in the Italian sailing discipline: for several years sport events like the Trentino Match Race, the Italian Mastership SNIPE Master and the European Championship 420 Team Racing take place here.
After having obtained a fishing authorisation you can even fish in the lake.
You will find a big variety of fish: trout, tench, perch, pike - all of which also taste excellent.

Canyoning

Very successful sports in the mountains from the recent years have been canyoning and white water kayaking.
These are sports at high adrenalin rush which are practised by sliding along the watercourses and natural chutes in narrow gorges, dug in the rock. You cross the white water by foot, following the watercourse, by dunking, jumping and descending the waterfalls with cord and sloop.
Many agencies in the region organise this kind of excursion.

Paragliding

Ideal conditions regarding nature and environment make paragliding in Val di Ledro very common.
Every year a large number of tourists dare to fly with the paraglider in the azure sky.
Starting positions are distributed all over the valley. For this discipline instructors are available.
