The Ledro valley is ideal for excursions that are not too demanding on the surrounding mountains. From the top of many of these it is possible to enjoy a wonderful view of the valley, the lakes of Ledro and Garda up to the nearby Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Of cultural and landscape interest there are many paths that in our mountains retrace a valley past dedicated to the work of pastoralism and where the malga played a fundamental role.
An example is the “Path of the huts of Molina and Legos” which climbs up from the Pur plain passing through 5 huts. At our houses detailed maps “Cai-Sat Paths” are available. The more enterprising can go on excursions to the nearby Val di Fumo and Val di Genova. It is also possible to discover the magical places of our valley on horseback and by carriage. We find some riding schools in Pur and in Ampola in Tiarno di Sopra.
